LWV's national office has
declared"our country is in a constitutional crisis". One way to protest this dangerous development is to vocally protest at rallies. LWVPGH members have been attending local rallies since April 19. Indivisible Pittsburgh is one of the sponsors of a rally on Sunday Oct 5 from 12:30 to 2 pm at 2177 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, 15219, next to the Hill District branch of the Carnegie Library.
Please consider attending. Allan Willinger, LWVPGH Advocacy Director, will be there with a big LWV sign.
A note on signs: Please note that if you are joining our LWV group at the protest, your signs must be in keeping with our non-partisan policy. In other words, do not carry signs mentioning any elected officials by name, or criticizing a specific political party by name. Issue-based messages are welcome, such as criticism of recent government actions, policies, and attacks on American or democratic values..
