Biography

Received a BA from Grove City College, with a background in business administration, and worked for seven years for RCA, Corporation at their manufacturing plant that was located in Meadowlands, Pennsylvania.

Left the workplace to raise a family, while beginning a deep appreciation for education. Returned to graduate school at Duquesne University for a MS Ed, becoming a certified, K-12 School Counselor. 

Worked 21 years in the Pine-Richland School District as an elementary counselor at Wexford Elementary school and as Guidance Department Chair for seven years. Also a licensed professional counselor (LPC), worked part-time as a therapist specializing in children's social, emotional, and educational issues.

Retirement wish: To become an active League of Women Voters member.
